The LBPD Senior Police Partner (SPP) program was established in 1995 as an opportunity to provide peer support and resources to seniors in the Long Beach community. The Senior Police Partners are a dedicated group of volunteers that work together with our Police Department to provide civilian support and meet the needs of vulnerable seniors out in our community. We respond to referrals from APS, Fire, Police, and friends/relatives of our seniors in need. We are actively recruiting new volunteers for our program.
