Your 2026 Sponsorship Fuels Collaboration, Education, and Advocacy for Older Adults in Long Beach

For more than five years, the Long Beach Aging Services Collaborative (LBASC) has brought together hundreds of professionals and organizations who share one goal — improving the lives of older adults in our community. Together, we’ve built something extraordinary: a strong, connected network that shares resources, fosters partnerships, and amplifies advocacy for age-friendly practices across Long Beach.

But now, we face a turning point. There is no grant or outside funding currently available to sustain the Collaborative’s work. Without direct support from our participating organizations and community partners, the LBASC — and the collaboration, communication, and connection it provides — will sunset at the end of 2025.

To ensure this invaluable network continues, we are introducing a new Sponsorship Model beginning in 2026. Sponsorships will provide the essential funding needed to continue offering:

  • Quarterly networking meetings connecting hundreds of professionals
  • Educational sessions and workshops strengthening our collective expertise
  • An annual community resource fair linking residents and providers
  • An online resource directory and e-news communications that keep our network informed and connected

Your sponsorship will keep the Collaborative alive — sustaining the relationships, shared knowledge, and coordinated efforts that make Long Beach a stronger, more age-friendly city.

We invite every organization that has benefited from LBASC — both nonprofit and for-profit — to step forward as a 2026 Sponsor and help ensure this vital network continues.

This is our moment to act. The Collaborative has always been powered by people who care deeply about older adults in Long Beach. With your sponsorship, we can keep that spirit — and this work — thriving for years to come.

Thank you for your continued partnership and leadership in making Long Beach a place where older adults can thrive.

Advocacy Awareness and Impact

Collaborative members advocate on behalf of business and seniors by monitoring legislation and issues impacting older adults in Long Beach and LA County. Members of LBASC work closely with government and leaders in the community to ensure the safety and quality of life for all senior members of the community. By working together and sharing ideas, resources, and energy we can develop solutions to local problems and issues.

Find and Share Resources

Build connections, increase your knowledge, and position your organization as a trusted resource and expert in the field in which we work. Share best practices, tools, and research with other leaders and professionals who are working with older adults every day.
